I Have a Garden...
We've planted peas, carrots, beets, beans, lettuce, yams, potatoes, butternut squash, spaghetti squash, tomatoes, onions, basil, cilantro, peppers, and garlic!
The peach tree produced 12 beautiful peaches last fall and the pretty blossoms are gone now and ready to make more yummy peaches. The apple tree made it through the winter and seems very happy in its garden spot.
The produce log starts now!
71 pints green beans
45 pints sweet pickles
5 pints pickled beets
10 quarts vegetable soup
6 1/2 pints tomatillo salsa
44 pints peach jam - YES! from my peach tree!!!
18 pints raspberry rhubarb jam

Ribbit! These frogs are wonderful - I think my girl's favorite use is to put them in the fridge for their own snuggly cold pack - they save the day!
